About Us

Led by Cheesemonger, Matt Steele (Associate of the World Academy of Cheese), Cornelius Cheesemongers is a premier online cheese experience. Founded in 2008, Cornelius Cheesemongers has its roots in hospitality, customer service and a deep understanding of cheese.

We are passionate about selling cheese in its best condition, and age cheese in our Cheese Cave cool room in Brunswick, Victoria, which is also the location of our cheese shop. We also offer catering, including Cheese Celebration Towers, bespoke grazing tables, which are our signature product and feature our Cheesemonger Matt’s professional skill in cutting and presenting cheeses.

We are also famous for our Cheese Club, a food experience that delights our clubbers every month.

We LOVE Adelaide and South Australia. It is clearly an area of Australia this is passionate about local food and produce, and it’s still one of our favourite places in the world. After much soul-searching, we decided that we just couldn’t leave our family and friends in Melbourne.

We have opened a venue in partnership with Tallarida Winery & Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula, which will include our new business, a distillery called Cow With a Crown, as well as the best artisan cheeses from Australia and around the world!
